Welcome to Basel Dog Behavior! By booking a training session, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility

My services are available to individuals who are 18 years or older. By using my services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Dog Health & Requirements

• All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health to participate in training.

• The client must disclose any behavioral issues, past aggression, or medical conditions that could impact training.

• Dogs showing severe aggression or health issues may require veterinary clearance or specialized training beyond my scope.

3. Training Sessions & Packages

• Training sessions are conducted at the agreed-upon location (client’s home, outdoors, or other suitable areas).

• Clients must be present during training unless otherwise agreed.

• Training results are not guaranteed—success depends on consistency, owner involvement, and the individual dog’s progress.

3.1 Free Discovery Call

• A 15-minute discovery call is offered free of charge to discuss your dog’s behavior and training goals.

​

3.2 In-Depth Behavioral Consultation (90 min)

• This session provides an in-depth assessment and personalized training plan.

 

3.3 Training Packages (3 or 5 Sessions)

• Clients will receive an invoice at the end of the month for completed sessions.

• Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase.

• Training sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable once started.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged in full.

• If Basel Dog Behavior cancels a session, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.

 

5. Payment & Fees

• Clients will receive an invoice at the end of each month for completed sessions.

• Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer (no Twint).

• Late payments may result in suspension of training services until the balance is cleared.

 

6. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

• While I take all necessary precautions, Basel Dog Behavior is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage during or after training.

• The client is responsible for their dog’s behavior before, during, and after training sessions.

• The client agrees to follow safety recommendations and assumes full responsibility for any risks involved.

 

7. Emergency Veterinary Care

• If a dog becomes ill or injured during a session, Basel Dog Behavior may provide first aid and/or transport the dog to a veterinarian.

• The client is responsible for all veterinary costs incurred.

 

8. Use of Photos & Testimonials

• With the client’s permission, Basel Dog Behavior may use photos/videos of training sessions for educational or marketing purposes.

• Testimonials provided by clients may be published on the website and social media.

• Clients may request in writing that their dog’s images or testimonials not be used.

 

9. Access to Property

• If training is conducted at the client’s home, the client must ensure access at the scheduled time.

• If access is denied and no prior cancellation was made, the session will still be charged in full.

 

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland, where Basel Dog Behavior operates.
